Urmit is a full-stack software engineer by trade with a career pedigree that includes roles at Capital One and AvalonBay Communities. While with AvalonBay, Urmit counts his contributions to a self-guided touring tool as a favorite in his career. He joined Formidable's Atlanta team in August 2020. Urmit primarily works with React and has a history that also includes AWS and Azure. While new to OSS, Urmit has recently contributed to react-swipeable. Urmit owns a racing drone that he enjoys tinkering with and also likes reading Wikipedia, weight lifting, and learning his mom's Indian recipes. Inspired by a childhood filled with Rocket Power, he's also trying to become a decent snowboarder.
