Chris is a front-end engineer passionate about creating applications that empower users, making complex operations simple and time-consuming tasks speedy. Before joining Formidable in January 2021, he spent eight years in Tokyo working in software engineering roles. In the early days of React’s skyrocketing popularity, Chris’s former employer gave him the opportunity to create and open-source two novel React components, each of which are now downloaded from npm hundreds of thousands of times every month. In his free time he enjoys repairing a wide variety of things, whether it be with a multimeter and soldering iron, a needle and thread, or just a flashlight and eye for how things work.
