Cesar is a software engineer specializing in front-end development. Prior to joining the Formidable Phoenix team in 2019, he worked on the web platform team at American Express where he used modern tooling and best practices to help create a more unified and efficient way of developing web applications throughout the company. While in that role he developed a feature that automatically adds SRI hashes to any file hosted on the company's internal CDN, which allowed for better security. Cesar is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the tech world and hopes to lead as an example. He enjoys mentoring and encouraging new developers. He is a frequent attendee at Phoenix ReactJS meetups and enjoys staying up to date on the latest tech news. In his off time, Cesar enjoys watching movies, spending 30+ minutes deciding what to watch on Netflix, and spending time with his family.
